Have you ever wanted to change up your style but weren't sure where to start? Maybe you don't have the time or the money to waste on a complete remodel. Learn some easy tips and tricks to a satisfying remodel that won't cost an arm and a leg.

If you're like me, you have probably often envied the beautiful, complementary designs of many celebrity homes and mansions. Often I thought about how much time and work they must have put in to afford such a luxurious living space. When I moved to college, I realized that I had an opportunity to change my style. Through a combination of sales, research, and advice from peers, I learned some simple tricks to still design a stunning living space without going broke. Now I want to share some ways that you too can restore your interior style.
Step One: Out With The Old

Old? Used?
Boring.
Don't keep all the old junk that you don't need, it's simply cluttering your space. Even a simple rearrangement can brighten a dingy room. Throw out those old papers, books, unwanted clothing, or furniture. Start with a fresh canvas. With that out of the way, you can now begin to design your rooms free of guilt.
Everybody Loves A Sale
This may seem like an obvious tip, but a sale is your friend. But not just your average 50% off discount. Coupons? Underrated. Before you go to checkout search the business website for coupons you can use to make your purchase more manageable. Many thrift stores also sell discounted furniture and decorations you can use to extenuate your room. Besides in-person purchases, numerous sites sell a wide variety of items you can use in your design. Some of the best cute yet cheap sites that I found in my explorations were: Birch Lane, Wayfair, and popular clothing stores Kohls and TJMaxx.

Do It Yourself
Now, this may seem like a lot of work, but the amount of money that you will save designing something from scratch is worth it. Pinterest, a free photo-sharing app, is a perfect place to gain inspiration. For example, a couple of

empty glass jars, a string of fairy lights, and some fake florals is an adorable table decoration that will only cost $18 dollars at most local grocery stores. While it may seem like more effort than it is worth, it will be really helpful to your budget.
What Now?
Now you know my secrets, so why not go out and use them? Even if you aren't concerned about your budget and simply want to know where to start when remodeling your living space. I hope some of my tips and tricks will help you to pursue a lifestyle on a budget.
